I have walked for endless miles.
I have spun my wheels for days.
But not a single moment wasted.
Cuz I’ve been learning this whole way.

When I faced my biggest setback,
that’s when it first came clear.
Let my life become a lesson.
For all the world to hear.

Wake up today. Wake up to time, cuz time is all we’ve got
Let my life become a lesson of what it is and what it’s not.

Its so clear to me what’s wrong today,
With what so many hold so dear.
But if it’s so simple living my way,
Then why I am I so rarely here?

Distracted by the nonsense. The wrong seems right and warm.
Clearly not the way to go, but most certainly the norm.

If my life becomes a lesson, for even just one soul,
then my time on earth was precious and worth more it’s weight in gold.

So build your castles on the sand. And rebuild them if they fall.
Cuz time spent building castles,
can’t be better spent at all.

Wake up today. Wake up to time, cuz time is all we’ve got
Let my life become a lesson of what it is and what it’s not.

And if I reach that one soul, and if he touch one soul more,
then the cosmic dance we’re  dancing in, spins happy one day more.
And the cosmic dance we’re dancing in, spins happy ever more .
