Two Men Wounded in Shooting Outside Maxim’s

The Seattle Times is reporting that SPD gang detectives are investigating a shooting that took place last night after the Super Bowl leaving two people wounded.

Police responded to the 5600 block of Rainier Avenue South shortly before 7:30 p.m. for a report of a fight involving a firearm outside of Maxim’s nightclub. Responding officers found blood and a shell casing, but no victims.

Police said two men later arrived at Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.  One victim, 26, was shot in the arm; the second, 36, was shot in the stomach, according to police.

Both men told police they were near the fight, but would provide no details.
