Another day, another dangerous accident on Rainier Avenue South. We’ve run several stories this week about the concerns over safety on Rainier, and it looks like it will be capped off with yet another story of a vehicle crashing into a building. We’re hearing that a car ran right into Rainier Beauty Supplies at Rainier & Orcas:

UPDATE: According to @SeattlePD the collision on SB Rainier Ave S @ S Orcas St has cleared and all lanes are open now.

There will be another Rainier Avenue Safety Corridor Public Meeting on March 3rd at The Ethiopian Community Center to review potential safety improvements and provide feedback on possible design changes.
