The Campaign is a challenge to all to donate to our campaign a set amount of $ for each eighth inch of rain that falls in Seattle between 11/5 and 12/5. Proceeds support our work to build wells in rural Somalia. Food: Vegetarian Tamale Cooking Class Details: Due to the success of our tamale classes and the generosity of our volunteers, we able to respond to the requests to hold a vegetarian tamale class! Now is your chance to learn how to make tamales from a master tamalera! Vegetarian Tamale Class are held on select Saturdays from 10 AM – 12:30 PM. Fundraiser: 17th Annual Gear Drive for HomelessDetails: We would love for you to join us for our annual FUNdraiser party to support our annual “Survive the Streets” event for Seattle’s homeless. Yes for 17 years we have been helping the homeless and this is our first FUNdraising event. This will be our 17th year of gearing up Seattle’s homeless so they can survive the winter. We expect to serve over 300 homeless people with our pop up store in Pioneer Square on Thanksgiving day, so we hope you will come to the party and support our mission. Featuring some of Ohio’s best musicians and visual artists, Digisaurus is dedicated to the evolution of music and art through technology and collaboration. The collective recently released their debut EP, “No More Room for Love,” produced with Mike Landolt (Maroon 5, Mushroomhead, Michael Franti) in late 2015. Digisaurus’ new record moves through multiple musical eras-from 60’s pop to modern day funk, while dealing with the dismissal of love and conflict within the human psyche.
