Midnight Convergence of Police Yields Few Answers

by Antonio Foster

Many South Seattle residents in the Rainier View and Skyway neighborhoods were startled by several SPD and King County Sheriff vehicles zipping passed at around 11:30pm Tuesday night as polices officers converged around Juniper Street and 55th Avenue South.

Though there has been no official word on just what transpired — both a K-9 and medic unit were dispatched to the scene — The King County Sheriff’s Office told KOMO News that cops were originally responding to a burglary, which then “snowballed from there.”

There is still no information as to who or what police were searching for, and what the result of that search yielded.

This story will be updated as additional information becomes available.
