Details: “SOAR convenes the King County Early Learning Coalition that advances the healthy development of children ages 05 through advocacy and collaboration. Our goal with this project was and is to learn directly from Black families about the experiences Black families have raising young children, and preparing them to enter Kindergarten. We have spent the past year collecting narratives from Black families through listening sessions. Our hope is the information gathered will help inform programs and policies that impact Black families.
