Youth Appreciation Week, Seattle Parks and Recreation’s annual celebration of teens during Seattle public school’s spring break, took place April 6 to April 14 at community and teen centers across the city.

The week of special events included a kick-off party at Meadowbrook Teen Life Center, pool and skating parties at several community centers, and a Caribean Cook-Off Competition and Block Party at the Rainier Beach Community Center.
