Northwest Tap Steps on Stage for Annual Recital

by Susan Fried

Family, friends, and fans filled the Paul Robeson Performing Arts Center at Rainier Beach High School on December 1 for “All That’s Jazz,” Northwest Tap Connection’s fall recital.

The dancing extravaganza featured performances by the dance schools students and staff. More than 100 dancers and instructors performed a variety of dance including tap, to African, modern, and traditional. The event was a fundraiser for scholarships and travel funds for the race and social justice-oriented dance studio.
