Hundreds of people turned out in Seattle last week for the annual May Day March for Immigrants and Workers.

May Day is an international movement that focuses on the fight against systemic racism, colonization, imperialism, capitalism and patriarchy. Marchers call for solidarity for labor rights and immigrant rights. Demonstrations, rallies and protests were held worldwide. This march has been organized annually in Seattle for nearly two decades.

Today we’re featuring a few photos of the march from photographer and writer Sharon H. Chang.
