“Join us for the workshop production of Tagalog sa King Street, a collection of one-act plays written and performed in Tagalog.
“With creative use of live English subtitles and shadow puppetry, non-Tagalog speaking audiences can enjoy the innovative, brave, new voices selected from the prestigious Virgin Labfest of the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
“Presented by the creative team comprised of Lorna Velasco, Joyce Juan Manalo, Ai Lalo, Alyza DelPan-Monley, Arlo Magpoc, Nina De Torres Ignacio, Leah Mitts, Manny Golez, and Pia Rivera.” This event repeats on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. See event for individual performance details.

“Our movement continues and it is time for more womxn of color to bring their power and voices to our schools! Join the Womxn of Color in Education Committee (WoCE) for an evening to celebrate and support the incredible womxn of color running for school board this year including Molly Mitchell, Rebeca Muniz, Chandra Hampson, Minal Ghassemieh, Maria Flores, Jane Aras and Luckisha Phillips.
“You will have an opportunity to hear from some of our endorsed candidates and to contribute to our fund to help get them across the finish line for the election this year.
“Light food and drinks will be provided! Come ready to mingle and to hear from incredible womxn in our community. Entrance into the event is free but we’ll be asking attendees to make a meaningful contribution.” Hosted by Womxn of Color in Education Committee.

Social Justice Film Festival at the Duwamish Longhouse
“Join us for the third night of the Social Justice Film Festival at the Duwamish Longhouse and Cultural Center for two Indigenous Features!
