“We would like to invite you to our 2019 – 15th annual Día de los Muertos Celebration! Curated by: Francisca Garcia
“This year our theme is Perseverance – Power in Action: Voice! Vote! Venceremos! Perseverance is defined as “persistence in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success”. We can make a difference and change by organizing our communities to get out the vote, registering to vote and to be counted in the 2020 census. This administration incited fear in our communities, scaring them away from the census, which will take away important funding from programs that help those in need.

Bunka no Hi | Japanese Culture Day
“Bunka no Hi is a celebration of Japanese and Japanese American culture and heritage. A popular annual event hosted by the JCCCW, the schedule is filled with performances, cultural demonstrations, games, and other activities. It is a true community-wide event, with booths and informational displays from a variety of local groups, nonprofit organizations and a couple of vendors. No matter where your interests lie, Bunka no Hi will have something for everyone! This is a free event!
“This year, JCCCW proudly presents two exhibits, an exhibit of numerous and unique good luck symbols of Japan and an exhibit of now and then photos of the Minidoka Incarceration Camp.
