Yet in contemporary cinema, moviegoers generally have a decent idea of what they are getting into when they enter the theater — incessant online advertisements pique the interest of targeted movie audiences. But what would happen if a viewer experienced a film without any preconceptions? Without even knowing which film would be screened?
