Seattle Asian American Film Festival Returns With 12th Anniversary

This year’s Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) celebrates its 12th year of virtual and in-person screenings. Explore the complexity of dynamics through this festival — from complicated mother-daughter relationships to future dystopias that distort reality, this year’s lineup will satisfy all festivalgoers. With 17 programs, eight feature-length films, and 55 shorts, the audience can enjoy a variety of narrative, documentary, and animated films by Asian American filmmakers from a wide spectrum of experiences. This festival will feature numerous award-winning films like unseen, The Accidental Getaway Drive, A Dire Strait, and many more. The in-person screenings will take place at the Northwest Film Forum from Feb. 22 to Feb. 25 and virtually on Eventive from Feb. 26 to March 3.

Seattle Asian American Film Festival Celebrates 10th Anniversary

This year, Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) celebrates its 10th anniversary with virtual features as well as select in-person screenings at the Stonehouse Café and Northwest Film Forum. As their second year online, SAAFF will feature over 100 short- and feature-length films, documentaries, animated films, drive-through, and in-person movie screenings. The festival is running March 3–13.

9th Annual Seattle Asian American Film Festival Will Be the Biggest Yet

This year’s Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) will take place online, and feature more short- and feature-length films, documentaries, and animated films than ever before in the festival’s history. Streaming with the help of partner Northwest Film Forum from March 4 to 14, SAAFF will virtually screen 123 films by or about Asian Americans in the U.S., grouped into 15 programs, and will hold one drive-in movie event.
